Dear friends, today we will talk about an extraordinary topic – how the nature around us proves the existence of God.
Have you ever looked closely at a flower? How beautifully and perfectly arranged are its petals! And when you look at the sky? How many stars, how many planets – everything is moving in such a strange order! When you look at them, doesn’t it seem that there is a touch of the hand of a great artist behind it?
The Bible says, “The heavens are declaring the glory of God.” That is, everything in nature seems to be singing the glory of God.
Just think about it – how nature changes every season. In spring, new leaves come, flowers bloom. In autumn, the leaves turn colorful. In winter, everything calms down, preparing for life anew. How beautifully this cycle works! Can any machine work so perfectly? God’s intelligence is hidden in this.
In our lives, too, there are many times when there are changes like seasons. Sometimes there are times of joy, sometimes of sorrow. But God is always with us, just as He is with nature.
Have you heard the story of Job? He was a very good man. But suddenly a lot of suffering came into his life. He lost everything. But even then he did not lose faith in God.
Finally, God himself spoke to Job. He asked Job, “Do you know how I made the earth? Do you understand how I control the sea?” Hearing these questions, Job realized how deep God’s knowledge is.
There are many times in our lives when we do not understand why something is happening. But like Job, we can also have faith that God has a plan.
Now let’s come to the words of King David. He was a poet-hearted man. As a child, he was a shepherd. Sitting on the mountain and looking at the starry sky, he felt the glory of God.
David wrote, “When I look at your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have established, then I say: What is man that you are mindful of him?” How beautiful these words are! David is amazed at the vastness of nature and wonders how such a great God remembers us, the little ones!
Have we ever thought like this? When we stand by the sea and look at the endless waters, or climb the mountaintop and see the view below, don’t we feel how small we are? But even then, God loves each of us.
David had a very difficult time in his life. Once, while fleeing from his enemies, he hid in a cave. There he sat and sang, “Where can I go from your spirit? Where can I flee from your presence?”
What a deep meaning is hidden in this song! David understood that wherever we go, God is there. Even when we are alone or afraid, we can remember that God is with us.
Now let’s talk about our own bodies. Have you ever thought about how strangely our bodies work? How complex our brains work every second, how perfectly our hearts beat, how our eyes see everything – it amazes us to think about all this!
David also wrote about this. He said, “I give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.” It is true. Every part of us, every cell – everything is designed by God.
Today’s science is also discovering the strange secrets of our body. Do you know, if one of our DNA could be stretched out, it could reach from the earth to the sun? And there is such a huge thing in one of our tiny cells! Could this happen by chance? Surely there is a great Creator behind it.
Now let’s talk about the laws of nature. Do you know, how far is the earth from the sun that makes life possible here? If it were a little bit different, we might not have been able to live here. Again, how much oxygen is in the air so that we can breathe? How much gravity is there so that we can walk?
There is a strange similarity between all these laws. It is written in the Bible, “He created all things by his word, he commanded, and they were established.” Doesn’t it seem as if the whole world is like a beautiful song, where every note is in its right place?
We all ask questions and have doubts in life. Sometimes we even experience sorrow and suffering. But when we look at nature – see the beauty of a flower, see the play of clouds in the sky – then we feel that we are not alone. We have a Creator, who has made everything with great care.
Job said at the end of his suffering, “I have heard of you before, but now my eye sees you.” When we also see the beauty of nature, may we get to know God anew.
So friends Remember, we are all part of God’s creation. We also have his image in us. So, let us take care of this beautiful creation, love it. Through this, we can thank God.
