Dear friends, today we will see from the Bible how God’s Word comforts us when someone loses their job or has to quit. If you liked today’s topic, I hope you will share it with others.
When we quit our job or lose our job, it is very normal to feel bad in life or to be broken. Because if a job suddenly leaves our life, it feels like the roof over our heads and the ground under our feet are removed. But the Bible reminds us that He is always with us to guide us and change our lives.
I myself have been through this situation. I remember, when I first quit my job, how scary it was! But then I started reading the Bible. And there I saw how beautifully God guides us.
Suppose you are going to a new job. Remember, God has a wonderful plan for you. It is written in the book of Jeremiah – “For I know the plans I have for you, plans for your good and not for your harm.” When I read this, I thought, “Wow! How much God thinks for me!”
Yes, change is not always easy. But remember, it will make you grow. Think of how David went from shepherd to king! God may be calling you to something new.
Pray to God to give you wisdom and courage to start this new journey. We must never forget that our identity is not in our jobs, but that we are children of God.
However, we should always keep in mind that God always has the best interests of us in mind. You may find it difficult at the moment, but after a while you will realize for yourself that what happened was for the best.
Now let’s look at the Bible passages and I hope these passages will give you comfort and strength to trust in God.
