Today we will talk about an important topic – mocking others. It’s something that we often do, right? But we do not understand how harmful it can be.
Look, God has made us all like him. So when we mock someone, we are actually insulting God’s creation. Can you imagine? How unfair it is!
Do you remember when someone was mocking someone at school when he was a kid? At that moment, it would seem mocking, but what was the situation with whom the mocking was done? We did not understand how injured he was.
There is a story in the Bible, a prophet named Elisha was mocked by some boys. Do you know what happened then? The boys had to get terrible punishment. From this story we can learn how much our words and work can have.
But not just for fear of punishment, we should show respect to others. Because this is God’s will. He wants us to love and help each other.
Well, say one thing – have you ever thought that Jesus himself was a victim of mockery? Yes, people made fun of him while hanging on the cross. But what did he do? He forgave them. What a great lesson this is for us!
How easily people make fun of each other on social media these days? But we who follow God should stay away from all this. Rather, if we see someone making a mistake, we can explain it to them properly.
You know, every person has some problems in their life. Maybe the person you are making fun of is going through a difficult situation. So instead of making fun of him, how good it would be if we help him and encourage him!
So guys, let’s go from today, we all make a promise. We will not make fun of anyone anymore. Rather, wherever I see is wrong, I will explain well. Remember, every human being is the creation of God, so it is our duty to respect them.
Now that we have learned these words, it will not be enough to just keep it to ourselves. We need to tell others, too. Because the more people know this fact, the better our society will be. As God wants, a world will develop where everyone will love and respect everyone.
