Bible Verses About Finding Peace In Death

Thinking about death comes to many people in fear and sadness. This is very normal, but for those of us who believe in God, many beautiful words in the Bible give us courage and peace.

Jesus himself said, “I am giving you peace.” How does it feel to hear this? Don’t think that a friend is reassuring you? Jesus says that the peace given by him is not like any other peace. It is a peace that can eliminate all our sorrows, all fears.

Well, let’s say one thing. Think you’re in a dark room. Fear, but suddenly someone came and grabbed your hand. Does that moment your fear does not diminish? Likewise, when we realize that God is with us at the time of death, our fears are greatly reduced.

The Bible says that death is not really the end; it is just a new beginning. It’s like a door through which we will be with God forever. Does this thought not give you peace?

And for those who have lost their loved ones, the Bible also has comfort. God says that He is close to the brokenhearted. He wipes our tears. Remember, you are having a lot of trouble, and your most beloved man came and hugged you. How will you feel? Just like God comforts us.

You know, after losing a very close man, it seemed that I would never be able to laugh again. But slowly, these words in the Bible read, I found peace. I realized that my loved ones are now with God, with no trouble.

Lastly, we can see the death of fear, without seeing death in fear. This is actually a way to go to our heavenly home. There we will be with God, and meet our loved ones again.

So friends, whenever you are afraid of death or you are sad, you will remember these words. Remember, you are not alone. God is always with you, loves you. His love is so deep that anything – even death – you cannot separate yourself from Him.

Now, we read some beautiful parts of the Bible together where there is talk of peace in death. These sentences will not just be read, but also remembered. When needed, they will give you courage, peace.
