There are times in our lives when we face death. Maybe you’ve lost a loved one, or you’re thinking about dying yourself. During these times we often feel frustrated and scared. But, you know, the Bible can give us a lot of courage and peace in this regard.
First, we need to understand that death is a normal part of life. It may sound a little hard, but it’s true. We are all born, grow up, and one day leave this world. But that doesn’t mean our lives are meaningless. Rather, it reminds us how precious every moment is.
Suppose, you are taking care of a beautiful garden. You know that one day these flowers will fall. But does that mean you should stop caring for them? No, rather you will nurture them with more care, so that they remain beautiful for as long as they are. Just like that, so is our life. We know it’s not permanent, but we wouldn’t consider it pointless because of that. Rather, make every day meaningful.
The Bible teaches us that death is not the end, but a new beginning. It’s like a door that takes us from one place to another. Jesus said, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live even if he dies. (John 11:25) These words give us hope, don’t they? It reminds us that death is not the end.
