Today I want to talk to you about a very important topic – how we can help lost people.
We all know that every human life is precious to God. Jesus himself often spoke of how important it is to find those who have strayed. He told a story about a shepherd who left his entire flock to go look for one lost sheep. This story really shows how much God loves his lost children.
Now we too must walk the same path, we must reach out to those who have strayed from the faith – with kindness and understanding. Yes, it is not easy, but this is a big part of our religion. Remember, God wants all of his children to be saved.
The Bible teaches us how to do this. We must be patient, loving, and compassionate. It is not about judging or blaming anyone – but rather extending a hand of friendship, so that they can return to God. Let God’s love and mercy shine through our actions—as He has in our lives.
You see, the Bible is a constant theme throughout—how God wants to save people. There are so many stories of people who have made mistakes, but still received God’s mercy and forgiveness. They remind us that no one is beyond God’s reach.
When we try to win back lost people, we must do so with humility and gentleness. Remember, it is not in our own power—God works through us. Our responsibility is to patiently help and guide.
The New Testament places special emphasis on bringing back those who have strayed. This is the core message of Christianity—mercy and forgiveness. When we help someone return to the faith, we become part of the work of Jesus.
Now let’s look at some parts of the Bible that talk about saving lost people.
