Today I will discuss with you a very important topic from the Bible. That is stubbornness and witchcraft. These two things are equally bad. If you like the topic, then definitely share it with others.
Look, we all know how bad stubbornness is. But the Bible shows that God considers stubbornness as bad as witchcraft. You may be surprised to hear this, right? But think about how much stubbornness can harm our spiritual life.
Well, do you know about Pharaoh? That king of Egypt, during the time of Moses? He was very stubborn. And because of him, there was a terrible plague throughout Egypt. Again, take the case of the Israelites. They were forced to wander in the desert for 40 years because of their stubbornness.
What can we learn from these stories? That if we go against God’s will, we have to suffer a lot, and we are deprived of many good things.
Well, think about King Saul. He once did his own thing without listening to God. Then when God got angry, instead of admitting his mistake, he tried to convince him with the opposite argument that he did the right thing. Because of this stubbornness, he ultimately lost his kingdom and God’s mercy.
Now tell me, why are stubbornness and witchcraft the same? Because in both, we want to do our own thing without listening to God. Just as in witchcraft, we want to get power outside of God, in stubbornness, we put our own will above God’s will.
Now you are thinking, “I don’t do witchcraft.” But brother, in our daily lives, we often become stubborn. For example, we don’t want to forgive someone. Or we know that a habit is bad, but we still don’t want to quit. By doing all this, we trust our own intellect more than God.
So the question is what should we do now? First, we have to surrender ourselves to God. We have to pray to God to soften our hearts. Remember, real strength is not in holding on to your stubbornness. Rather, real strength is in surrendering yourself to the will of God.
What do you say, brothers and sisters, will you try? I know, it is not easy. But together we can help each other. And God is with us. With His help, we will surely be able to.
